With the shortage of water resources and the demand for environmental protection in China, the water resources and environmental problems faced by the power industry will become increasingly prominent. The process and technology of power plant wastewater treatment will be optimized to realize the resource utilization and zero discharge of wastewater, and its social benefits and economy. The significance of benefits is very far-reaching. There are many sources of wastewater from power plants, and the composition is very complicated. If it is not treated effectively, the external discharge will cause serious pollution to the environment and cause great harm to human health. The treatment of sewage and wastewater in power plants has become an urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, it is imperative to achieve zero emission of comprehensive utilization of wastewater and sewage treatment in power plants. Wastewater from thermal power plants mainly includes: desulfurization wastewater, chemical boiler feed water recycling waste acid and alkali liquid drainage, circulating water concentrated sewage, boiler sewage, laboratory waste water, engine room waste oil sewage, domestic sewage, and so on. If these wastewaters can be completely treated and fully recycled and have zero emissions, they have high economic and environmental benefits. Direct emissions do not comply with the national environmental protection policy, and they do not meet the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction, and waste water resources.
